Cleveland Browns had five players selected as All-Pros to lead the NFL
Just a few days after firing their head coach, the Cleveland Browns had five players named to the All-Pro team. What a coincidence?
@TomPelissero: “Browns tie for NFL lead with five All-Pro selections” reads the email five days after the coach was fired for players’ lack of progress.
@AdamSchefter: All-Pro teams announced today. Teams with most All-Pros: KC, SF and CLEV, each with five. So Browns job might actually be good one.
Josh Gordon, Joe Haden, Alex Mack, Joe Thomas and TJ Ward were all selected. Both Mack and Ward are free agents in 2014.
