Tony Romo is now tied with Tom Brady for the most 4th-quarter interceptions this season when the score is within five points. Romo joined Geno Smith (did it in Week 2 vs NE) as the only quarterbacks to throw multiple 4th-quarter interceptions in the same game when the score is within five points this season.
Tony Romo might be regressing, and everyone knows that he does not do good in December, but I cannot blame all of it on Romo. The Cowboys ran the ball so well in the first half and they totally abandoned the run. Unlike the Cowboys, the Packers didn’t give up on the run in the second half, and in fact, increased their rush percentage. Lacy gained 110 yards in the second half alone, averaging 8.5 yards per rush (3.9 in the first half).
Even Jerry Jones was upset, but HEY he is still riding with Monte Kiffin, Bill Callahan, and Jason Garrett…..
“This is one of the hardest losses that I’ve experienced,” Cowboys owner Jerry Jones said. “That’s a shame that we’ve lost that ballgame.”
