Broncos need just 18 points to set a new NFL single season scoring record
The Broncos need 18 points to set a new NFL single-season scoring record which the the 2007 New England Patriots hold with 589. And in a season when they have scored at least 28 points in 13 games, the Broncos need 28 points to hit the 600-point barrier.
To put that in some kind of perspective, until this season, the Broncos’ highest scoring season in the franchise’s history was 1998. That team finished with 501 points.
Also, this year’s Broncos are the league’s only team to record more touchdowns scored (72) than punts (62).
