Will the Monte Kiffin experience end soon in Dallas? I say bring in LOVIE
This year the Dallas Cowboys have been horrible on defense. I know they have had to go through injury after injury, and I thought this team would be rated higher than they are on the defensive front. This year the Dallas Cowboys turned to Monte Kiffin the legendary old man to replace Rob Ryan. Rob Ryan was the guy that was basically the scapegoat for the Cowboys 8-8 team last year. Kiffin’s defense has been so bad this season, it has Jones rethinking whether he should’ve fired Rob Ryan.
“We thought that it was best for us to go in that direction, and that doesn’t look good right now,” Jones said after Sunday’s debacle. “It’s embarrassing to lose. It’s embarrassing to not be representative, not be competitive, all of those things.”
I know Kiffin’s deal was for only one year, and if he cannot improve I would expect him to go. The Cowboys need to spend some money on coaching. Stop getting coaches that are horrible ala Jason Garrett. You need to go out and hire a big name coach. If the Cowboys had Lovie Smith could you imagine? I bet they get back to the playoffs and win.
