This year several teams have been playing extremely well. After watching 11 weeks of football, I have come to the conclusion that I would love the Seattle Seahawks against Peyton Manning and the Broncos in the big dance.
After watching the Broncos handle the Chiefs last night, I would love to see how their wide outs match up against Richard Sherman and the Seahawks. The Seahawks defense has been shutting teams down, allowing them to only average 293 yards a game. The most impressive stat is that the secondary is only allowing 180 yards passing a game.
The Seahawks are getting healthy right now and are getting players back in groups. Russell Okung, Breno Giacomini, and Percy Harvin are all getting back in the grind. I expect the Seahawks to get Brandon Browner back in the playoffs as well. That will make this defense that much better.
Peyton Manning on the other hand has been amazing, and he is going to break every single season passing record on file if he keeps up this pace. Manning has been elite and his receivers continue to shine. The Broncos are number one in the NFL averaging 455 yards per game in total offense. It would be a true dogfight to see the Broncos and Seahawks.
I think that Peyton Manning will edge out the Hawks in the end, but it is the best Super Bowl in a while.
24-21 Denver in the cold of New Jersey, who else could see it happening?
