EJ Manuel wants to play but the coaches are dragging their feet

As I reported last week, EJ Manuel was ready to go, he wanted to play last week against the Chiefs, but the doctors would not clear him.  The decision is going to be up to Doug Marrone and company, but today Manuel was finally cleared by the doctors.

EJ Manuel says he’s been cleared to practice. Decision to play up to Marrone, he says

Manuel wants to play the Pittsburgh Steelers and he is trying his hardest to play against them, but his coaches continue to drag their feet.  Why are they dragging their feet? They are holding him out because they do not want him to be only 80 perecent, they want a full 100 percent Manuel back on the field.  He wants to play and if he can convince the coaches, he will start this week. I would not be surprised however to see the Bills hold out EJ until after the bye.
