Vikings reward DE Brian Robison with a 4 year deal with 13 million guaranteed

Today the Minnesota Vikings and defensive end Brian Robison reached agreement on a contract extension, the team announced on Wednesday.

Robison, was a product of the University of Texas, is in his seventh season with the Vikings after being selected with a fourth-round pick in 2007. He has played in 94 career games with 38 starts, assuming a full-time starting role in 2011. He has 30.0 career sacks, a total that includes 16.5 since becoming a starter two seasons ago. His 8.5 sacks in 2012 was a career-high. Robison has 1.0 sack this season and leads the team in quarterback hurries with 11.
