“72 Dolphins” meet the “2013 Denver Broncos”
Only one team has ever went the entire season and post season undefeated, and that was the 1972 Miami Dolphins. The Dolphins were led by Hall of Fame coach Don Shula who did an amazing job at coaching his “No Name” Defense into playing like heroes. There has been no team to break this streak, the New England Patriots came very close, but they are not as talented as the Denver Broncos.
Peyton Manning has been amazing this season for the Broncos. He makes the game look so effortless, as he has lit up the first four teams he has played for 16 touchdowns and zero interceptions. Peyton could go into week 8 with 30 plus touchdowns, which would be the most outrageous thing to happen in the NFL, in my opinion.
There has not been one team to really even apply pressure to the Broncos and to be honest I don’t think there is a team in the league that can. The Broncos are their own worst enemy, but remember right now they are playing without 2 pro bowl players. When Von Miller and Champ Bailey return, the Broncos defense will get much better.
If they keep on this pace, I don’t believe there is a team in the NFL that can compete with them. They should win the Super Bowl and help Peyton further his journey as the greatest quarterback ever to play.
