Vikings have re-signed safety Andrew Sendejo

Andrew Sendejo was a former UFL football player that turned out to be a very solid player in the NFL. Sendejo played college football for the Rice Owls. He was signed by the Sacramento Mountain Lions as a street free agent in 2010. He has also been a member of the Dallas Cowboys and the New York Jets. Today he was rewarded with a new deal according to Mike Garafolo of Fox Sports.

Sendejo was signed to a four year deal worth 16 million dollars.

In 2015 ,he started 12 games at Strong Safety.In the Vikings opening game he blocked a Field Goal which was picked up by Marcus Sherels. He had one interception of Eli Manning at home against the New York Giants. He returned it 9 yards.In the Wild card round of the playoffs he dropped a diving interception attempt which could have helped the Vikings win.
