Texans pay their longsnapper Jon Weeks
John McClain of the Houston Chronicle reports that the Texans have signed LS Jon Weeks to a four-year extension.
According to Aaron Wilson, Weeks’ extension is worth $3.9 million and includes a $250,000 signing bonus, to go along with $80,000 of his 2015 salary guaranteed.
Weeks’ base salaries in this new deal will be: $825,000 (2015), $825,000 (2016), $900,000 (2017), $915,000 (2018) and $930,000 and (2019), per Wilson.
