Football is about giving back, what is the coolest thing you have done off the field?

Help Host a summer football camp at my high school for kids.

What was the hardest college class you ever had to take?

Biomechanics

Where are you from?

Navasota, Texas

Who is your role model, and why?

My mother. Because of the sacrifices she took too raise me, my brothers and sister.

Did you play any other sports growing up?

Yes. Played basketball and running track growing up ,and tried baseball in high school.

Did you play any other positions in football?

I played Wide Receiver in high school and at Blinn Juco College , then switched to Cornerback when I got to Sam Houston.

At your position, what separates you from others?

I think my length, with my long arms and the ability to press and jump up with WRs.

When you are breaking down film, what do you look for?

See if they have favorite WR/s, Look at WRs against press and off,  WRs Favorite Routes (deep and short), Route combinations by the WRs, QB steps (3 or 5), and look for checks from the QB/WR and slide-line.

Who was the toughest player you ever faced?

Either Malachi Dupre (LSU)or LaDarius Brown (Sam Houston)

If you could compare your play to one player in the NFL who would it be and why?

I would say Kevin Johnson, with the long athletic play style and being able to use hands at the line.

tevinWhat was the biggest obstacle in your life you had to overcome, and how did you overcome it?

My little cousin Artreal Jones passed away during a basketball practice before going to college in the summer of 2014. I took it as a sign, “how bad do you want it?” Because his heart stopped while he was practicing in the gym with a teammate and I overcame it by letting his death motivation me throughout life.

Do you have any pre-game rituals?

Always say a prayer and 2 Timothy 1:7 in my head.

What is your biggest strength?

Being able to press physical at the line and run.

What is your biggest weakness?

Tackling maybe

If I were a GM and gave you a second to sell yourself, what would you say?

I’m a great teammate and competitor, I have the ability to guard big/tall WRs, and I’m a quick learner.

Who was your favorite player and/or NFL team growing up?

My Favorite player growing up was Peyton Manning and the Colts.

If you could have dinner with three people dead or alive, who would you choose?

Florine Williams(my Aunt), Deon Sanders, and Lebron James.

What will be the first big item you buy once you are in the NFL?

First thing buying my old neighborhood and remodeling it.
