Teez Tabor says “I play football, I don’t run track”, regarding his 40 time
I like Teez Tabor, and while the former Florida Gators cornerback has taken quite a bit of criticism for his 40 yard dash, I love his attitude.
“It adds fuel to the fire,” Tabor told reporters. “It’s like when you tell someone they can’t do something then you’re basically making them try even harder to do what you’re telling them they can’t do.”
“My strength is football,” Tabor said. “I play football. I don’t run track. I’m trying out for the NFL. Not the Olympics. So, I’m in a pretty good spot.”
Teez Tabor was a first-team All-SEC pick at Florida over the past two years. If he was not good, I would worry, but the guy is a shut down cornerback. I think he will be just fine in the NFL.
