Steelers worked out former U.S. Army Ranger

Alejandro Villanueva just wants an opportunity to live out his dream. After returning from Iraq as a United States Army Ranger, Villanueva enlisted in the Regional combine.

After an impressive showing the 6’7 defensive end was signed by the Philadelphia Eagles. Well today Villanueva worked out with the Pittsburgh Steelers, just a few days after being released by the Eagles.

@FieldYates: Source: the Steelers worked out DE Alejandro Villanueva, a US Army Ranger, on Wednesday. Was recently waived by the Eagles.

This would be a feel good signing, but I cannot see him making the roster even if he is signed.
