Steelers have signed safety Ross Ventrone to their practice squad
The Pittsburgh Steelers announced Tuesday that they’ve signed S Ross Ventrone to their practice squad.
Ventrone was signed by the New England Patriots as an undrafted free agent in 2010, and appeared in eight games for them in 2011. Ventrone also played for the Pittsburgh Steelers, seeing action in a combined 14 games over the 2014 and 2015 seasons.
Ventrone played college football at Villanova. He is the younger brother of current New England Patriots assistant coach Ray Ventrone.
