Seattle Seahawks are going to have to rely on Golden Tate and four undrafted free agent wide outs

The Seattle Seahawks know how to manipulate a roster. I don’t know how they do it but they always find a way to make it happen and work.  This week after losing Sidney Rice, and not getting Percy Harvin back, the Hawks will rely on their undrafted free agent wide receivers.  The Hawks only have 5 wide outs on the roster, and four of them were undrafted.  Jermaine Kearse, Doug Baldwin, Bryan Walters, and Ricardo Lockette are going to be asked to carry the load.

“I can’t grow,’’ said Doug Baldwin, who at 5 feet 10 is six inches shorter than Rice. “Sidney is a bigger target, obviously.’’

Baldwin, though, is confident that he can help fill the void created by the loss of Rice. While Baldwin is usually used in the slot, he is listed as Rice’s backup at the “Z’’ (or outside receiver) position and has lined up there regularly throughout his career. Baldwin and Jermaine Kearse are expected to get the first call at filling in for Rice when the Seahawks host Tampa Bay on Sunday,

“You’ll see those guys out there quite often,’’ said Seattle offensive coordinator Darrell Bevell

This makes me root for the Seahawks, because undrafted free agents do not get enough credit.  There are always studs out there, and thank god they are playing the Bucs this week.
