Redskins president put a July 15th long term deal deadline for Kirk Cousins
Redskins president Bruce Allen said the July 15 deadline for a long-term deal is “the driving point” in negotiations with franchise-tagged QB Kirk Cousins.
Chris Russell of 106.7 The Fan is reporting that talks between the quarterback and franchise have been “positive of late” as they work towards a long term deal.

Allen said the team has maintained “constant dialogue” with Cousins’ camp and he is “still optimistic” something will get done.
