Redskins end Brian Orakpo’s season by placing him on I/R; Sign Everette Brown
Today the Washington Redskins placed Brian Orakpo on the season-ending injured reserve. In a corresponding move the Redskins signed Everette Brown. Orakpo was lost to a torn pectoral muscle last week.
Brown, a former second-round pick, was in camp with them this summer, but didn’t make it through final cuts.
He’s also spent time with the Panthers, Chargers, Lions, Eagles and Cowboys. He has some ability as a 3-4 rusher.
