Should the Raiders try to trade Denarius Moore now?
The initial depth chart of the Oakland Raiders came out yesterday listing Andre Holmes as a first-team receiver and Moore as third team behind veteran James Jones. On the other side, Rod Streater appears entrenched as the starter, with Greg Little running with the second team.
With the emergence of Andre Holmes , Denarius Moore has become expendable. At 6-foot-4, 210 pounds, Holmes is 4 inches taller and 20 pounds heavier than Moore. Over the last seven games of the 2013 season, Holmes had 25 receptions for 431 yards — an average of 17.2 yards per catch — and had a touchdown.
I don’t know what the team will get for Moore, but he should draw a decent draft pick. I think he is easily worth a 5th rounder.
