Tomorrow the Pittsburgh Steelers are working out former small school linebacker Glen Stanley.
Glen Stanley finished his college at Albany State a small black college in Georgia. Stanley is a freak athlete out of Vanguard High School in Ocala, Florida. Stanley was named second team all american and tore up the division and he did not even play the entire season. This kid has tons of skills, and will be a steal for an NFL team.
Stanley had tons of Division 1 love but ended up bouncing around in his college career. He was expected to go to Florida State University with Jimbo Fisher but it fell through at the last minute. Jimbo Fisher still talks very strongly about Stanley, saying the kid wants it and has that “It” factor. You can learn more about Stanley in the interview we did with him.
Stanley was expected to have a pro-day, but the school cancelled their pro day at the last minute. This left Stanley stranded with no NFL scouts really getting his numbers. Well tomorrow one team will have his numbers and many more of these workouts could come. Stanley has had to take the hard path all through his career, but it is gonna pay off in the end for him.
