Pierre Desir and Jimmy Garoppolo will be heading to Mobile
After the East/West Shrine game was played today, it was all over twitter that both Jimmy Garoppolo and Pierre Desir, two small school players would be getting called up to the Reese’s Senior Bowl in Mobile, Alabama.
Jimmy Garoppolo is a very stout quarterback from Eastern Illinois that tore it up at the East/West all week. Garoppolo was the Walter Payton Award winner and one of the best quarterbacks in OVC history. He will be joined next week in Mobile, Alabama with Pierre Desir. Desir is a small school cornerback from D2 Lindenwood University. Desir is a very solid prospect that won the Cliff Harris Award for best small school defensive player.
The Senior Bowl will be another great way for the two guys above to get exposure. Both will also participate in the NFL Scouting Combine. Expect both to have their names called in the NFL Draft.
