Patriots were able to land former Redskins TE Fred Davis for 905k dollars

How often do you get to sign a second round pick for less than 900k dollars? Well the New England Patriots signed former Washington Redskins tight end Fred Davis yesterday to a cheap deal.

That is pretty amazing if he pans out.

@FieldYates: TE Fred Davis’ contract with the Patriots: 1-yr, $825k. $20k in workout bonus, $60k in per-game roster bonuses. No guaranteed money.
