Patriots have traded Logan Mankins to the Buccaneers for Timothy Wright and a pick
Today the New England Patriots traded offensive guard Logan Mankins to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers for Tight End Timothy Wright. Wright was a former Rutgers wide receiver converted tight end.

A day after the Buccaneers met with free-agent Richie Incognito in an effort to bolster their line, the Bucs opted to go one step farther.
According to Adam Schefter of ESPN, the Patriots will get a fourth-rounder in addition to tight end Tim Wright in exchange for veteran guard Logan Mankins. That’s not bad, considering Mankins’ big salary numbers ($6.25 million in 2014, $6.75 million in 2015 and 2016).
