Panthers worked out James Casey as well as a few others
Mike Garafolo of FOX Sports reports that the Panthers are working out veteran TE/FB James Casey on Tuesday. Aaron Wilson reports that QB Bryn Renner is also in Carolina for a workout today. The Panthers are also WR Douglas McNeil, according to Garafolo.
Casey was drafted by the Houston Texans in the fifth round of the 2009 NFL Draft and has also played for the Philadelphia Eagles. He played college football at Rice University.
Renner played college football at the University of North Carolina. He was the starter for the Tar Heels from 2011 to 2013.
McNeil wide receiver for the Portland Thunder of the Arena Football League (AFL). He attended Virginia Tech, James Madison University and Bowie State University and was a member of their football team.
Titans also tried out FB Kiero Small on Tuesday.
