Trevon Hartfield

What is your Height/Weight? 

6’2″ 195lbs

What is your position? 

Cornerback

Where do you play college football? 

Southwestern Oklahoma State University

Football is about giving back, what is the coolest thing you have done off the field? 

The coolest thing I ever did giving back was at the Live United Texarkana Bowl when we went and helped out at the elementary school by playing football with the students.

What was the hardest college class you ever had to take?

The hardest college class I ever had to take was definitely Managerial Accounting.

Where are you from? 

I’m from Watonga, OK

Who is your role model, and why? 

My role models are my parents, they’ve raised me into the man I am today.

Did you play any other sports growing up? 

I played basketball, baseball and also ran track growing up.

Did you play any other positions in football? 

I played quarterback and wide receiver before making cornerback my primary position.

At your position, what separates you from others? 

My size and physicality along with my speed separates me from other cornerbacks.

When you are breaking down film, what do you look for?

When I’m breaking down film I watch for tendencies that they receivers tend to give away on breaks and stems.

Who was the toughest player you ever faced? 

Toughest player I ever faced was Sedrick Johnson transfer from Iowa State to Southern Nazarene University, he was just a complete athlete.

Trevon_HartfieldIf you could compare your play to one player in the NFL who would it be and why? 

If I compared myself to one player it would be Patrick Peterson bc I play very instinctively and off a lot of athleticism.

What was the biggest obstacle in your life you had to overcome, and how did you overcome it? 

The biggest obstacle I had to overcome growing up would probably be being one of the smaller players in my younger years of high school and having to work extra hard to get bigger, faster and stronger to catch up to all the other players.

Do you have any pre-game rituals? 

I do not have any pre game rituals.

What is your biggest strength? 

My biggest strength is being a bigger cornerback along with having good speed.

What is your biggest weakness? 

My biggest weakness is being a bigger cornerback and not having as good of hips as a smaller cornerback.

If I were a GM and gave you a second to sell yourself, what would you say? 

I am a player that has all attributes to play at the professional level, I train every day to be the best me and to beat the best that is put in front of me.

Who was your favorite player and/or NFL team growing up? 

Peyton Manning is my favorite player and Denver Broncos have always been my favorite professional team.

If you could have dinner with three people dead or alive, who would you choose? 

Three people I would have dinner with would be my son, mother and father.

What will be the first big item you buy once you are in the NFL?

The first big thing I will buy when I’m in the NFL will be my mother a car.
