University North Carolina Pembroke

Football is about giving back, what is the coolest thing you have done off the field?

Off the field, this past week we had hurricane Mathews destroyed our county, me and the players volunteered, passing out water and helping families in need

What was the hardest college class you ever had to take?

Hardest class ever: Calculus 2

Where are you from?

Burlington, NC 

Who is your role model, and why?

Role model is my dad because he’s always pushed me to the limit and supported my goals from the start.

Did you play any other sports growing up?

Growing up I played Basketball, baseball, soccer and lacrosse

Did you play any other positions in football?

Always played WR and slot

At your position, what separates you from others?

What separates me from any other WR is my competitive spirit, losing isn’t a option for me, I always find a way to get the job done.

When you are breaking down film, what do you look for?

Breaking down film I look for things I can improve on, I focus on defense tendencies and how DB/LB cover in space or zone. Look at defense strengths and weaknesses.

Who was the toughest player you ever faced?

Toughest player ever face is Keenan Allen

If you could compare your play to one player in the NFL who would it be and why?

Compared to Willie Snead, attacks the ball and blocks well, competitive spirit and will to never lose.

Pregame ritual I take a cold shower before the game

As a small school football player what obstacles do you feel you have to overcome?

Being a small schooler I feel you have to show you can compete with the big school guys, WR is a special position because you have a lot of small school guys who are in the league and out shine some of the big school guys. A great WR is a GREAT WR no matter the level. Rise to the level of competition.

What is your biggest strength?

Biggest strengths: competitive, powerful, great route runner, yards after catch, Coachable, leadership, playmaker, Acceleration.

If I were a GM and gave you a second to sell yourself, what would you say?

GM: Sir, I’m extremely coachable, ready to work and do whatever is needed from me to make this team better, I come to compete and to show that I can play at this level. I love the game and play from the heart, I’m ALL IN.

Who was your favorite player and/or NFL team growing up?

Favorite player growing up Steve Smith
Favorite team growing up Cowboys

If you could have dinner with three people dead or alive, who would you choose?

Dinner with my two grandfathers and Harry Cohen

With your first NFL paycheck what would you buy?

First paycheck I would buy my parents something nice for everything they done for me
