New York Giants have six time Pro-Bowl defensive tackle Kevin Williams in town for visit
Last night the New York Giants met with defensive tackle Kevin Williams, according to the The Star Tribune. Williams’ visit will continue Tuesday according to multiple reports. A six-time Pro Bowl defensive tackle, Williams had spent his entire career with the Minnesota Vikings and is experiencing his first taste of the open market.
“I’m not sure what’s going to happen,” Williams said. “I played 11 years in Minnesota. It didn’t work out there and this is my first visit with another team. I’m not sure how to feel. It’s all new to me.”
The Giants also have Laron Byrd the former Arizona Cardinals wide out in town for a visit as well as Matt Flynn and Josh Freeman. The team is serious about adding talent this year. There are reports that say if Chris Johnson ala CJ2k leaves New York Jets facility without a deal, he will be headed to New York Giants to talk a contract.
This is getting interesting but it sounds like the Giants are putting all their eggs in one basket, and I like it.
