New Orleans Saints have cut tight end Michael Egnew
Michael Egnew was a former third round pick, but the kid cannot make a roster. Egnew was signed recently by the New Orleans Saints, but did not make a great impression. According to Kristian Garic the Saints are placing TE Michael Egnew on waivers Monday.
New Orleans signed Egnew to a contract a week ago, but it appears as though he was contingency option to veteran TE Alex Smith, who was re-signed a few days ago.
Egnew has all the intangibles, but he cannot make a roster. This is not a great sign for the former Missouri tight end.
