Football is about giving back, what is the coolest thing you have done off the field?

Over the last few summers I’ve been volunteering at a local youth football camps in my hometown. Being around and helping kids that are growing up in the little league programs, schools, and have the same joy for the game I did at a young age is so cool to me.

What was the hardest college class you ever had to take?

The hardest college class I took was biology.

Where are you from?

I am from the west side of Detroit, Michigan.

Who is your role model, and why?

My role models are my mom (Dorothy Moore) and my pops (Michael Wynn Sr).

My parents aren’t together at all so I grew up in two different household, which gave me kind of two view points on life growing up. My mom represents a side of me that gives me the hunger to want better and to go out and do better. Coming from a little bit of nothing She taught me to pray to God and always do my best, and want to succeed so bad that I can taste it on the tip of my tongue.

My pops molded me into a man by showing me what’s right and what’s wrong at an early age. He gave me an competitive edge as he was an great athlete himself. My pops has really showed me what it really means to be a man in the world.

Did you play any other sports growing up?

Growing up my pops kept me on the field or court to keep me away from getting in trouble. I played basketball, baseball, ice hockey, and football of course. I played all these sports from the age of 5 up to high school.

Did you play any other positions in football?

I always played both sides of the ball until college. In high school I started at the Free safety position along with wide receiver.

At your position, what separates you from others?

My foot work, route running ability, and sticky hands separates me. I also feel that my knowledge of the game, and my heart and willingness to win separate me from others.

When you are breaking down film, what do you look for?

I look for the defense tendency of coverages, I study the player or players that would be guarding me and his strengths and weakness, and how to attack them.  

Who was the toughest player you ever faced?

I grew up playing with some of the best out of the city of Detroit. Few of the Best Db’s I grew up going against Jordan Lewis (University of Michigan) Desmond King (University of Iowa) and Shuron Jackson (Minnesota West)

If you could compare your play to one player in the NFL who would it be and why?

Ty Hilton … Crafty Receiver who can go deep and across the middle for big plays and who is also big in the return game

Do you have any pre-game rituals?

I love to get in the game time mood by just listening to my music and some times yelling the words out loud. Getting dressed before everybody else and being one of the first players on the game field, Nothing special.

As a small school football player what obstacles do you feel you have to overcome?

Proving that I’m just as good if not better as the players at big time programs.

What is your biggest strength?

Very determined, fearless, route running

What is your biggest weakness?

Weight

If I were a GM and gave you a second to sell yourself, what would you say?

I am ready to learn and put the work in to win. My passion for the game will standout as I work my hardest to better myself and others around me.

Randy Moss and Ray Lewis

If you could have dinner with three people dead or alive, who would you choose?

Tupac, Barack Obama, and Dr. King

With your first NFL paycheck what would you buy?

First thing I’m buying is my mama a house so far away from the city of Detroit.
