Where do you play college football?

Northwestern Oklahoma State University

Football is about giving back, what is the coolest thing you have done off the field?

I’ve done many community service events but the one that meant so much was the opportunity to read books to 3rd grade students the impact you have on them is something special.

What was the hardest college class you ever had to take?

Political Science was tough

Where are you from?

I’m from Denver, Colorado

Who is your role model, and why?

My role would have to be my mother she has Multiple Sclerosis and no matter how hard it is she has never stopped fighting that’s why I’ll never give up fighting for my dreams.

Did you play any other sports growing up?

I played baseball, basketball, and a throwing in track

Did you play any other positions in football?

I actually starting playing football as a cornerback and quarter in little league then once I hit my full size it was strictly DL I just started playing OL and learning the position 2 yrs ago.

At your position, what separates you from others?

I’m very athletic and what separates me the most is the growth. I’ve only been playing LT since my sophomore year of junior college it was natural to me so I still got a lot to achieve. And my arm length once I get them on you it’s over.

When you are breaking down film, what do you look for?

First to see his strengths and weakness. Watch to see the first two steps is he a finesse DL or a bull rusher, look at his stance if he shows any signs he’s going inside or going to run the hoop.

Who was the toughest player you ever faced?

It’s been two Randy Ricks at San Diego State and Joby Saint Fleur Northwestern Oklahoma State University.

If you could compare your play to one player in the NFL who would it be and why?

Tyron Smith because he is very athletic and has that nasty streak even in pass pro he’ll put yo face in the dirt. When he gets his hands on you ain’t no letting go.

What was the biggest obstacle in your life you had to overcome, and how did you overcome it?

When my mom was diagnosed with MS I know my life changes forever she couldn’t do a lot of things she use to do like come to my games run up and down the sidelines. It’s got worse but she continues to smile like it’s nothing and I’m going to continue to make her smile everyday. Tough times don’t always last.

Do you have any pre-game rituals?

Yes before every game I call my mom we have a conversation and I go sit alone and watch offensive linemen pancakes every game this year I watched Brandon Scherff.

What is your biggest strength?

The drive and ambition I got to be great. I’ve never gave up no matter how hard things have been. Most players just want to make it but I want to make it and be great.

What is your biggest weakness?

Opening my chest when I’m about to strike a defender. Something I’m working on while I train.

If I were a GM and gave you a second to sell yourself, what would you say?

I’m a person you can trust it’s we before me. I’ll come to work and bust my ass everyday for the man beside me. I love the game I have passion to play this game and I will never disrespect the game the organization or myself by not giving my all day in and day out.

Who was your favorite player and/or NFL team growing up?

Lawrence Taylor I was a DE at first and my mentor always told me I played similar to him which I been studied his game before that. I’ve always liked the Broncos.

If you could have dinner with three people dead or alive, who would you choose?

My Grandma, Art Shell, Eric Thomas

What will be the first big item you buy once you are in the NFL?

My mom a home currently she has no place.
