Football is about giving back, what is the coolest thing you have done off the field?

Playing in the Erie Elite’s annual Turkey Bowl every thanksgiving morning to raise money for the Erie City Mission around the holiday season.

What was the hardest college class you ever had to take?

Anatomy and Physiology

Where are you from?

Erie, PA

Who is your role model, and why?

My mother is my role model for many reasons. Main reason being her positive outlook and handling of life issues that she was able to instill in me to help me handle my growing pains better.

Did you play any other sports growing up?

Track and Field

Did you play any other positions in football?

I grew up a offensive player playing running back and returning kicks.

At your position, what separates you from others?

As a safety I take pride in man coverage on slots and winning that battle against faster guys having all that space to work with. Also, the way I was built at my school to pursuit to the football is a big factor that separates me from other Defensive backs.

When you are breaking down film, what do you look for?

Different down and distance concepts, reciever releases on pass plays vs run plays, and QB release on deep, quick and intermediate throws.

Who was the toughest player you ever faced?

Garry Brown from CalU

If you could compare your play to one player in the NFL who would it be and why?

Cyrus Jones, he is a smaller guy but has great football IQ and the feet to stick with anybody he lines up against.

What was the biggest obstacle in your life you had to overcome, and how did you overcome it?

Missing a year of football due to academics. During that year I realized I wouldnt have the game forever and that i had to make sure all my ends were tied up in every aspect of my life and i used the motivation of playing with my guys again to get me back on the field.

Do you have any pre-game rituals?

Head straight to the staduim after pre-game meal and get in the whirl pool while listening to music before I suit up.

What is your biggest strength?

Man to man coverage

What is your biggest weakness?

Sometimes not being patient enough. Being too fast instead of staying patient.

If I were a GM and gave you a second to sell yourself, what would you say?

Tell me where you need me to play and I will get the job done by any means.

Who was your favorite player and/or NFL team growing up?

Minnesota Vikings… My favorite player growing up was Randy Moss.

If you could have dinner with three people dead or alive, who would you choose?

Will Smith, Micheal Irvin and Deion Sanders

What will be the first big item you buy once you are in the NFL?

A house for my momma.
