Football is about giving back, what is the coolest thing you have done off the field?

I tutored this little girl at the children recreational center. She was so sweet and loved talking about football.

What was the hardest college class you ever had to take?

It was a history course, which wasn’t my favorite subject.

Where are you from?

Dallas, Texas

Who is your role model, and why?

My role models are the Pouncey twins. I’ve always looked up to them as players and men off the field. They remind me of my older brother.

Did you play any other sports growing up?

I wrestled and threw shot put.

Did you play any other positions in football?

I am versatile enough to play both Guard and Tackle.

At your position, what separates you from others?

I fight, I play with an edge over my competition. I bring the fight.

When you are breaking down film, what do you look for?

I look for pass rush moves and how the DL plays the run. I look for any giveaways in their differences, hints, stance, twist, and blitz’s.

Who was the toughest player you ever faced?

My Sophomore year going against Jackson Jeffcoat and Cedric Reed at Texas.

If you could compare your play to one player in the NFL who would it be and why?

The guards from the Raiders. They have some heavy hands. I have heavy hands and when I lock on its over. They play old school down hill running plays.

What was the biggest obstacle in your life you had to overcome, and how did you overcome it?

I had to make it this far without a father. I had a tough life growing up and I made it to college and have a chance to play at the next level and become a role model to my little ones.

I talk to myself to get my mind right in the mirror.

What is your biggest strength?

My strength has always been my fight; I always bring the fight.

If I were a GM and gave you a second to sell yourself, what would you say?

I would say that I hate to lose and I hate being second, and that I love to bring the fight on the field.

Who was your favorite player and/or NFL team growing up?

I’ve always been a fan of the Pouncey twins coming out of Florida. I love how they play, and like watching them play so I’m a Steelers and Dolphins fan.

If you could have dinner with three people dead or alive, who would you choose?

I would choose Bernie Mac, Tupac, and Biggie Smalls.

What will be the first big item you buy once you are in the NFL?

I’m going to make sure my Mom can sleep stress free first.
