Jets place kicker Nick Folk on I/R; Sign kicker Randy Bullock
The New York Jets announced that signing of K Randy Bullock on Tuesday along with the decision to place K Nick Folk on season-ending injured reserve.
Bullock will replace Nick Folk, who felt a ” little pop” in his quad during pregame warm-ups Sunday. Bullock converted just over 80 percent of his kicks in 35 games with the Texans. He was waived after missing a 43-yard attempt and an extra point Week 3.
Bullock was selected by the Houston Texans in the fifth round of the 2012 NFL Draft after winning college football’s Lou Groza Award.
