Could Jadeveon Clowney go first overall after all?
For the past several weeks, John McClain of the Houston Chronicle has been saying that the Houston Texans are leaning toward a quarterback. He has been so very strong on this assessment, saying for sure it will be a quarterback. Well today the newest mock draft for John McClain came out today, and who did he have going number one?
The Houston Chronicle’s John McClain projects Clowney to the Texans at No. 1 overall in his latest mock draft.
McClain is one of the better beat writers in the NFL, because he has quite a bit of connects. If Clowney does go first overall that means the Texans will draft a quarterback in the second round or later. I would expect the team to lean towards a guy like Derek Carr or Jimmy Garoppolo in the second round.
