What is your Height/Weight? 

Height: 6’2    Weight: 190

What is your position? 

Cornerback/Defensive back

Where do you play college football? 

Campbell University ( Grad Transfer; Charlotte)

Football is about giving back, what is the coolest thing you have done off the field? 

Having the opportunity to participate in the youth Miracle League Baseball game. This is an event held at the YMCA where you assist children with physical and cognitive capabilities. You have a buddy or two for the baseball game and you help this kids play and have a good time. Definitely one of the coolest experiences off the field for me.

What was the hardest college class you ever had to take?

Sociological Research Methods without a doubt.

Where are you from? 

Charlotte, NC

Who is your role model, and why? 

My parents are collectively my biggest role models! They are the hardest working people I know and I’ve learned so much from them. They’ve taught me so much about work ethic, sacrifices, honesty, being true to yourself and many more but most importantly how to be a man.

Did you play any other sports growing up? 

Track, Football, and basketball up until 7th grade.

Did you play any other positions in football? 

Many during Pop warner days, however, just DB and WR after 9th grade and special teams of course.

At your position, what separates you from others? 

My work ethic, length, speed, size, football IQ, and film efforts collectively help to separate myself from others.

When you are breaking down film, what do you look for?

First I watch it simply for what it is. Then I began to look for tendencies and things my team can use to be successful. Lastly I began to break down and find things that can help put me in positions to make plays within the game plan set forth by coaches.

Who was the toughest player you ever faced? 

Honestly not sure maybe a toss up between Kenny Cook; GW, Kierre Brown; Elon, and Vad Lee; QB at James Madison at the time.

If you could compare your play to one player in the NFL who would it be and why? 

Josh Norman. Because of his self confidence, edgy play, and desire to make plays!                                                                       

What was the biggest obstacle in your life you had to overcome, and how did you overcome it?

Graduating Undergrad. Persistence and decision making benefitted me in overcoming this obstacle. 

Do you have any pre-game rituals?

Stretching and completing my own warm up before warm ups while listening to music. Usually a game day playlist to set the mood and get my mind right. 

What is your biggest strength? 

Understanding my strengths and weakness and using that to play on my strengths. Also understanding my length and leverage will help aid me. 

What is your biggest weakness? 

Eyes in the backfield! Any DB’s weakness. 

If I were a GM and gave you a second to sell yourself, what would you say?

I’m an honest hard working kid with potential that i’m trying to reach. Give me an opportunity and see what happens.

Nnamdi Asomugha

If you could have dinner with three people dead or alive, who would you choose? 

Jesus Christ, PrimeTime, Taraji P. Henson

What will be the first big item you buy once you are in the NFL?

My momma a house.
