Giants GM is pretty poor at drafting according to Forbes magazine

Forbes magazine performed a study regarding the average NFL draft pick from 2007 to 2012 has played in 31.8 games. The average Giant draft pick in that same time period has played in 30.6 games. That’s not a huge difference, but it’s also below par when compared to other longterm general managers.

There are nine current GMs who have managed their teams’ drafts since at least 2007, the year that Reese took over in New York. Among those nine, only three have drafted players who have averaged fewer games played than the Giants’ picks.

When you look at the Giants drafts over the past several years they have been pretty poor. Not many great players have come out and to be honest they have had better luck with UDFA’s than with their selections.

What do you think G- Men? Do you like their drafting? How many more years is Jerry Reese safe?
