Former Cowboys linebacker worked out for the Falcons

Today the Atlanta Falcons worked out former Dallas Cowboys linebacker Dan Connor, according to Pro Football Talk.  The team also had former New York Giants tight end Bear Pascoe in for a workout.  The team signed Pascoe, but there has been no word on Connor as of yet.

Connor split last season between the Giants and Panthers, playing six games and recording four tackles. He started eight games for the Cowboys as an injury replacement for Sean Lee in 2012 and played 42 games for the Panthers in his first stint with the team.

Bear Pascoe on the other hand is a pure blocker. He only caught 12 passes in 16 games last season.
