Which Fantasy Quarterback should you take and when should you take him?

rodgersNFL Draft Diamonds is here to help you, our readers out with Fantasy Football advice.  We will break the Fantasy Quarterbacks down into four categories this year, Elite, From Second Round on, Third is Bronze and Abort Mission.

Elite – The Elite quarterbacks are slim to none in the NFL, but we found several guys that are must haves in round 1. 

  • Peyton Manning – Week 4
  • Drew Brees – Week 6
  • Tom Brady – Week 9
  • Aaron Rodgers – Week 9
  • Andrew Luck – Week 10

From Second Round on – This is a group of guys I would feel comfortable with as my starting quarterback if you fail to land one of the top guys above.

  • Matthew Stafford – Week 9
  • Philip Rivers – Week 10
  • Ben Roethlisberger – Week 12
  • Jay Cutler – Week 9
  • Matt Ryan – Week 9
  • Nick Foles – Week 7
  • Colin Kaepernick – Week 8
  • Robert Griffin III – Week 10
  • Tony Romo – Week 11
  • Cam Newton – Week 12

Third is Bronze – These are guys that should be considered your back up, but you never know they might need to be the starter one or two weeks in case of injuries. 

  • Andy Dalton – Week 4
  • Russell Wilson – Week 4
  • Ryan Tannehill – Week 5
  • Eli Manning – Week 8
  • Carson Palmer – Week 4
  • E.J. Manuel – Week 9
  • Alex Smith – Week 6
  • Joe Flacco – Week 11
  • Matt Schaub – Week 5

Abort Mission – These quarterbacks are your last hope, one or more of your quarterbacks have been hurt, and you are desperate.

  • Josh McCown – Week 7
  • Sam Bradford – Week 4
  • Ryan Fitzpatrick – Week 10
  • Brian Hoyer – Week 4
  • Chad Henne – Week 11
  • Matt Cassel – Week 10
  • Geno Smith – Week 11
  • Jake Locker – Week 9
  • Any Rookie Quarterbacks
