Fantasy Football website offers Ray Rice a job for 1 million dollars
According to TMZ Sports, Ray Rice has a job offer. It may not be the best offer but it is a seven figure salary.
Rice received a $1 million contract offer from a fantasy football website hoping to sign the former Baltimore Ravens running back as a spokesperson, according to TMZ Sports.
The offer from ProDraftLeague.com reportedly is for a one-year job that pays a $500,000 base salary and includes another $500,000 in bonuses based on membership milestones. There’s a very interesting clause in the contract offer, too, according to TMZ Sports. As you probably know, Rice sat out the 2014 season following a domestic assault incident involving his now-wife, Janay. So, if Rice hits his wife at any point during the contract period, the website will receive its money back. “It’s been one year since Mr. Rice physically assaulted his wife and we are very confident that he will not do it again,” ProDraftLeague.com CEO Mark Tadros told TMZ Sports. “But in the event that he does while being employed by Pro Draft League, his contract will be immediately terminated and the entire $500,000 must be returned plus an additional $500,000 in damages that our brand will incur for being associated with Mr. Rice.”
