According to Vaughn McClure, the Atlanta Falcons are expected to bring in Rex Grossman for a workout today. Grossman played college football for the University of Florida. He was selected by the Chicago Bears in the first round of the 2003 NFL Draft, and has also played professionally for the NFL’s Houston Texans, Washington Redskins and the Cleveland Browns.

Rex Grossman expected to have an afternoon workout with the Falcons following his physical, I’m told. We’ll see if he signs.
Grossman is undergoing a physical Tuesday morning and will work out for the team in the afternoon. Grossman has a long history with new Falcons OC Kyle Shanahan, and neither T.J. Yates or Sean Renfree have shown well this preseason. If all goes well in the physical, Grossman should have a deal in the very near future.
