Emmanuel Holder

What is your Height/Weight?

 5’11” , 250

What is your position? 

Fullback

Where do you play college football? 

Towson University

Football is about giving back, what is the coolest thing you have done off the field? 

The coolest thing I have done off the field was helping Terrance West with his BWI camp at Towson University.

What was the hardest college class you ever had to take?

The hardest college class I ever had to take was Finance. 

Where are you from? 

I am from Baltimore, Maryland.

Who is your role model, and why? 

My father is my role model, he is a great man and a great man of God and he isn’t perfect but he takes care of his family first no matter what is going on and if I could be half the man he is then that would be great.

Did you play any other sports growing up? 

Growing up I played; basketball, baseball, softball, and lacrosse. 

Did you play any other positions in football? 

I have been playing football since I was 5 years old and have literally played every position on the football field.

At your position, what separates you from others? 

What separates me is my ability to catch the ball.

When you are breaking down film, what do you look for?

When I am breaking down film I watch, how the defensive lineman’s stances vary when they are doing certain things I

Who was the toughest player you ever faced? 

Honestly in the CAA I can’t say who the toughest was because everyone is tough, there is no one person that I played against that stands out. 

If you could compare your play to one player in the NFL who would it be and why? 

When comparing myself to an NFL Fullback I would say the fullback that played for the Ravens he is very versatile and I consider myself a versatile back.

What was the biggest obstacle in your life you had to overcome, and how did you overcome it? 

The biggest obstacle I had to overcome was trying to find out where I was going to college, it was an obstacle because a lot of teams that were recruiting me wanted me to play D-line. Towson was the only school that wanted me to play fullback but they were not going to give me a scholarship but I went to Towson worked hard and earned my scholarship playing fullback.

Do you have any pre-game rituals? 

My main pre-game ritual is listening to Gospel Music.

What is your biggest strength? 

My biggest strength is my heart, no matter what obstacles or adversity I will do everything in my power to overcome it does not always work but I will give it my all.

What is your biggest weakness?

My biggest weakness staying organized for more than 3 months.

If I were a GM and gave you a second to sell yourself, what would you say? 

I am a Fullback that can think through any situation that comes my way, I can catch any ball thrown in my area. I don’t cause any off the field trouble, I will give you my best effort for as long as you allow me to give it to you.

Who was your favorite player and/or NFL team growing up? 

My favorite player growing up was Michael Vick.

If you could have dinner with three people dead or alive, who would you choose? 

Jesus, Bernie Mac, My dad. That would be a fun dinner.

What will be the first big item you buy once you are in the NFL?

I don’t plan on spending too much money I might get my own space or help my father pay for Seminary, which is a school for pastors and preachers.
