What is your name?

Kelechi Nwadibia

Where do you play college football?

Humboldt State University

How many teams were recruiting you out of high school?

I didn’t have too much recruitment out of high school except Norther Arizona showed a lot of interest.

How did you choose your school?

I actually went to San Jose State as a pure student and walked onto the team.

Where are you from?

I’m from Stockton, CA

Who is your role model, and why?

I would have to say my role model is my mom because she’s such a hardworking person. Raised 3 kids on her own while at times having to work 2 or 3 jobs at a time waking up at 5am. My mom is just a great example for me to doing what you have to do.

Have any scouts met with you yet, and if so what are they saying?

I haven’t met with any scouts yet.

Did you play any other sports growing up?

Soccer was really my first sport ever, then basketball. As soon as I discovered football, there was no turning back. I had found my wife.

Did you play any other positions in football?

I played corner and safety in high school

At your position, what separates you from others?

I think my route running, my ability to get the jump ball and my deep ball threat.

When you are breaking down film, what do you look for?

Watching a defense or specific defender, I’m looking for tendencies. How aggressive against the run is the corner. How does he react to quick move releases. Jam techniques. How are his feet. Safety aggression. A few of the things I study.

Who was the toughest player you ever faced?

The toughest player I’ve faced would probably be a player in my conference who plays at Central Washington. He’s just a great competitor.

If you could compare your play to one player in the NFL who would it be and why?

I would say AJ Green because of the route running prowess, speed to get the deep ball and leaping ability to go up and get the jump ball. I wore 18 in college because of him.

What was the biggest obstacle in your life you had to overcome, and how did you overcome it?

There’s challenges and obstacles faced everyday, I think just keeping your head down and staying faithful is how I get through the challenges.

Do you have any pre-game rituals?

I just listen to music before games. Read my bible for some strength and ease of mind. Music is essential.

What is your biggest strength?

My biggest strength I would say is my competitive edge. Somebody might be faster, stronger, bigger than me but my confidence and competitive edge always keeps me ahead of the curve. I’m very athletic though.

What is your biggest weakness?

I’m an emotional/passionate player and that can sometimes get the best of me and throw me off at times.

If I were a GM and gave you a second to sell yourself, what would you say?

I’m a guy whose a great competitor, extremely versatile whose ready and willing to come into work and do whatever is asked of me. Special teams, receiver, or water boy, I’ll come with great energy and focus.

Who was your favorite player and NFL team growing up?

My favorite player no question was Randy Moss. He still is my favorite player. He’s just a great receiver who really changed the game and the position. Favorite team was the Eagles.

If you could have dinner with three people dead or alive, who would you choose?

Malcolm X, Barack Obama, and Achilles (Greek warrior)
