Where do you play college football?

Adams State University

How many teams were recruiting you out of high school?

I didn’t have any teams recruiting me out of high school i never planned on playing and I only played my senior year

How did you choose your school?

I chose my school because that was the only school that would give me a chance

Where are you from?

I’m from San Jose CA

Who is your role model, and why?

My mother is my role model both of my parents are immigrants from Ghana and she has worked 2 to 3 jobs all my life and did her best to provide for my sister and I

Have any scouts met with you yet, and if so what are they saying?

I’ve met with a few scouts and the main concern was how i would bounce back from completely tearing my ACL as well as tearing my meniscus.

Did you play any other sports growing up?

I played basketball baseball and soccer and didn’t get into football until my senior year in high school

Did you play any other positions in football?

I did not play any other positions in high school

At your position, what separates you from others?

I feel knowing my self is what separates me from others, I’m bigger than most defensive backs that i face and i love to use my size. i also know I’m not the fastest guy on the field so i run my routes differently to get open and create separation.

When you are breaking down film, what do you look for?

When I break down film i look for tendencies in my opponent across the board to make my job easier what gives away him pressing me versus him bailing and what side do the safeties like to drift to as well as hip movement and feet work pre snap and post snap

Who was the toughest player you ever faced?

Toughest opponent I’ve faced was Cariel Brooks his short, but he’s extremely strong and very fast. His IQ of the game is to the extent of a coach’s IQ.Even though he’s my teammate he’s taught me a lot of what i know and the cerebral aspect of the game.

If you could compare your play to one player in the NFL who would it be and why?

Michael Irvin would be my comparison he’s not the fastest guy on the field, but he knows how to get open as well as use his size and strength and his mission is to catch every ball that comes his way. Watching his film and he genuinely loves the game and he doesn’t stop working when practice is over he does the little things and thats what make great players great.

What was the biggest obstacle in your life you had to overcome, and how did you overcome it?

The biggest obstacle that i would have to overcome would be balancing home and football. Like i said my mother worked 2 3 jobs my whole and she still does so to see her go through that i refused to just let her continue to keep working so with the blessing of a scholarship and financial aid i would be able to help her out financially whether it was scholarship money or work study no matter the job.

Do you have any pre-game rituals?

My pre game ritual is to pray at each goal post as well as the 50 yard i do this about 30 minutes before we have to get ready, because without God i would be no where near where i am. i also to leave my jersey rolled up i wear my Ghana shirt under my pads to represent my culture and where my parents traveled from

What is your biggest strength?

My biggest strength is knowing myself and my abilities and to maximize them as well as to work on my weaknesses. if you know yourself then there is no doubt and you can go as far as you want to

What is your biggest weakness?

My biggest weakness would be how fresh i am to the game i still have a lot to learn, but at the same time i love the game so the things that i don’t have knowledge of i will have knowledge at a quick pace because i want to be successful and will be

If I were a GM and gave you a second to sell yourself, what would you say?

I would tell the GM that I may not be the next Jerry Rice and that’s perfectly fine with me, but at the end of the day i know myself and i know what i am and what i can become. I haven’t had any type of vacation or a relaxation period because i want to be able to say as well will be able to say that i gave this game everything that i had and when its all said and done i will make a positive difference for your organization.

Who was your favorite player and NFL team growing up?

I didn’t have a team i really didn’t watch football let alone have the attention span but i always liked Terrell Davis from the Broncos he was just smooth in all of his actions when ever i was able to sit still and watch

If you could have dinner with three people dead or alive, who would you choose?

I would choose Jerry Rice and Deion Sanders because of my passion for this sport and what aspire to do everyone does extra work and has there keys to make them better, but what were those little things that made them great. The third person that I would choose would be my great grandmother, she raised my mother to the best of her abilities and if there was no her then I wouldn’t be the individual that I am today. My mother would tell me stories about how she raised her and I would always think that she was talking about herself, but it was my great grandmother and for that i am forever grateful.
