Could Big Ben Roethlisberger suit up for the Steelers this week? He hopes to play
Last week Big Ben Roethlisberger was helped off the field and his back-up Landry Jones was able to get the win for the Steelers. this week the Browns play the Steelers and while many thought Big Ben would be out for several weeks, the Big man might not miss any time, if he has it his way. According to Ed Bouchette of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette “You cannot count out Ben Roethlisberger just yet.”
“My goal is always to try to get better as fast as possible,” Roethlisberger said Thursday before practice. “If I’m feeling good enough and coach determines I’m good enough to be out there on Sunday, then that’s the goal.”
Roethlisberger played college football at Miami University, and was drafted by the Steelers in the first round (11th overall) of the 2004 NFL Draft. Big Ben is tough as nails, and I would not be surprised to see him suit up and play.
