Colts place safety on the injured reserve
The Indianapolis Colts have placed safety Corey Lynch on injured reserve Friday with an undisclosed injury.
Lynch played in five regular season games and both playoff games last season, primarily on special teams, after signing with Indianapolis on Nov. 27. He had six special teams tackles for the Colts. He made two tackles on defense and three more on special teams in the postseason. He also played three games with Tennessee before being released Nov. 22.
The i jury has not been noted but it must be a bad injury for the team to place him on I/R so early.
