It seems like every year the Dolphins release or trade a super talented football player for no reason. It has happened continuously for the past several years. From Brandon Marshall, to Chad Ochocinco, to Vontae Davis, to Sean Smith, they just don’t know when to stop. Just yesterday the Dolphins cut corner back Richard Marshall formerly of the Carolina Panthers.
Well it was reported yesterday by Pro Football Talk’s Mike Florio the Dolphins wanted to bring him back but at a cheaper salary than his expected 4.55 million for the year. Well it looks like that could have taken a turn for the worst. Today the former starting corner back flew to San Diego to meet with the Chargers Brass. Marshall could be an immediate upgrade at the corner position for the Chargers, and would add solid depth. The Chargers lost 5th round draft pick Steve Williams to a torn pectoral muscle, so at this point Marshall is definitely needed.
I think the Dolphins have once again dropped the ball, what do you think?
