Terrell Owens takes a shot at Cris Carter; Says he is better

Terrell Owens believes he is better than Cris Carter. What do you thinK?

Is Terrell Owens better than Cris Carter? If you ask T.O. he will tell you he is.

Terrell Owens, who played 15 seasons and had 1,078 receptions for 15,934 yards and 153 touchdowns, announced that he had “lost all respect” for the Hall of Fame. This week,he took as shot at former NFL wide receiver Cris Carter, whom Owens cited as having more character issues than he did during his playing days.

“Even you think about guys that have gone and really tried to attack my character and called me a flawed candidate, a guy like Cris Carter — trust me, I’m better than Cris Carter,” Owens told WFAN’s Mike Francesa. “I’ll tell him that. He knows that I’m not a fan of him.

“He wants me to wait because he had to wait. I did more with less. I was better than Cris Carter. So he shouldn’t mention anything about anybody, especially me, about being a flawed candidate when here’s a guy who got released, flunked three drug tests from Philly — cocaine and alcohol addiction — and then there was somewhere down the road he’s telling guys to ask somebody to be a fall guy. What kind of character is that?”

I want to know what you think? Do you think Terrell Owens is better than Cris Carter?

Report: Eagles are looking to deal LB Mychal Kendricks

Eagles could be willing to trade Mychal Kendricks

The Philadelphia Eagles could be looking to deal linebacker Mychal Kendricks this offseason and could potentially release him if that doesn’t pan out, according to Jimmy Kempski of PhillyVoice.

“According to a source, the Philadelphia Eagles are willing to move on from Mychal Kendricks this offseason, and it is anticipated that teams around the league will have interest in acquiring Kendricks via a trade,” writes Kempski.

A team like Buffalo could be one that is interested in Kendricks. Sean McDermott has a lot of use for a speedy and agile linebacker like Kendricks. It will be interesting to see if the Eagles can find a suitor.

Eagles QB Carson Wentz has hired a QB mechanics coach

Carson Wentz of North Dakota State highlights the 25 players drafted in 2016 from small schools

Carson Wentz has hired a QB mechanics coach

Former North Dakota State University quarterback Carson Wentz will work on his mechanics this off-season and he will have some help.

According to Ian Rapoport, The Eagles’ second-year signal-caller will work with 3DQB’s Adam Dedeaux this off-season.

Dedeaux, the grandson of legendary USC baseball coach Rod Dedeaux, worked with and for sports biomechanics guru Tom House for 10 years. Those two have trained many veteran quarterbacks, including Tom Brady, Drew Brees, Andy Dalton and Tim Tebow, according to NFL.com.

I love Wentz and feel he will have a huge second year.  The Eagles are heading in the right direction. It will not be long and they will be winning constantly for years.

Clay Matthews calls Allen Barbre’s block a cheap shot

allen-barbreThis past week the Green Bay Packers may have won the game over the Philadelphia Eagles, but Allen Barbre the offensive lineman of the Philadelphia Eagles and the former Packers draft pick had the block of the year.  On a reverse to Bryce Treggs, Allen Barbre peeled back and spanked Clay Matthews on a block that put him out the game for a while. Matthews was asked by reporters about the block and he immediately said it was a cheap shot.

“I wasn’t a fan of it,” Matthews said of Barbre’s block, via ESPN. “I mean, I’ve got a lot more to say about it, but I’m going to say it behind closed doors. It was cheap shot, but it is what it is. I hate it. Unfortunately I landed on my shoulder, and that’s kind of what I’ve been dealing with since. They didn’t throw a flag probably because I wasn’t a quarterback,” Matthews said. “I know all about that.”

“There’s some swelling [and] bruising, but we got an X-ray and nothing’s broken so that’s good. So we’ll see moving forward the progress I make going into this game. That’s ultimately the goal, but we’ve got some work to.”

Sounds like he may be a little sour because he was injured, but at the end of the day, it was a clean block.
