The first pick in the draft will likely be inactive week 1

The first pick in the NFL draft is now a third stringer

Jared Goff the first pick in the NFL Draft will not even be on a week one roster.  According to his head coach Jeff Fisher, the Rams will not activated first overall pick Jared Goff week 1.

“Jared’s had a great camp, so has Sean. Case is clearly our starter. I think Week 1 just to settle things down … it’s probably going to be, like I mentioned last week, it’s probably going to be three and inactive,” Fisher said to Steve Wyche of NFL Media. “That’s just how it goes. And then next week we’ll flip them. I just want him to feel and sense and absorb the pressures of Week 1. He’s going to be a great player. As we’ve said from Day One, we’re not rushing him. We don’t have to rush it. I’m really happy with where he is right now. It’s unfair to compare him to anybody else. I know Philly has got their situation, it’s a little different and trading Sam so Carson is going to start, but you know Jared is in a good place right now. He’s done some really good things, so I’m really pleased with his progress.”

This may be the first time in NFL history that a first overall selection was not activated week 1 of the regular season. I honestly cannot think of a time it has happened.

Bills are signing Marcus Roberson to their PS

The Buffalo Bills keep working to get their practice squad finalized.

Bills signed CB Marcus Roberson the former Rams CB.

He played college football at Florida. He signed with the St. Louis Rams as an undrafted free agent after the 2014 NFL Draft.

The Los Angeles Rams drafted Jared Goff to be the future of their Franchise, but he has not looked very good.  Rams head coach Jeff Fisher, said last night that right now Goff is his third string quarterback, and will likely go into the season as the third string QB.

“I think it’s going to take a bit more time,” Fisher told reporters. “That’s not to say he can’t be a No. 2 or start, but if we were starting right now, I’d probably have Sean [Mannion] as the No. 2. Because it’s all about being patient with [Goff].

“He’s not frustrated or anything. He took some hits. He got hit pretty hard last week, and Sunday was a tough day for him, which you guys didn’t see. But he did everything he needed to do.”

I want to know what you all think? Do you think it is worth it for the Rams to bench him, 0r let him have his growing pains?

Todd Gurley has some pretty amazing custom cleats (MUST SEE)

Todd Gurley will start the season on NFI List

Gurley has some nice new kicks

Todd Gurley was one of the best running backs in the NFL last season and this season he will have some stylish kicks to do it in.

After a rookie season in which he ran for 1,106 yards (4.8 yards per carry) and 10 touchdowns in 13 games, may believe he will have a chance to put up almost 1.5 times those stats.

It will be amazing to see how he helps out his quarterback, but if he is wearing these kicks, you have to root for him.
