Bengals star wide out could miss the rest of the season

A.J. Green is one of the best wide receivers in the NFL, but the star wide out from Summerville, South Carolina suffered a torn hamstring according to multiple reports.

According to the reports, Green could miss a lot of time due to the injury.  Green was carted off the game after trying to haul in a pass against the Buffalo Bills today.

Bengals coach Marvin Lewis didn’t provide any details about Green’s injury after the game.

“I don’t know when he can come back, but he has a hamstring injury,” Lewis said.

AJ Green is an animal and Ocho Cinco is giving him credit

In an interview with Geoff Hobson of the Bengals’ official website, Chad Johnson aka Ocho Cinco called A.J. Green the best wide receiver of all time.

“To me he’s the greatest (Bengals receiver) of all time because he can do things I wasn’t able to do,” Johnson said. “High-point the ball. And he’s a much more consistent pass catcher than I was.”

Ocho Cinco may know a thing or two about making plays as he recorded 751 receptions for 10,783 yards and 66 touchdowns in a Bengals uniform. Green on the other hand is only 28-years-old and has already logged 474 catches for 7,067 yards and 48 touchdowns. Remember that is only is 6 years too.  I think Ocho Cinco knows a thing or two about reality.

Bengals linebacker Vontaze Burfict leads the league in fines

Cincinnati Bengals linebacker Vontaze Burfict has been fined $75,000 for allegedly stomping on an opponent Sunday, according to multiple reports.

According to Pro Football Talk, the league made it clear in its letter to Burfict that the fine is for stepping on New England Patriots running back LeGarrette Blount not for the low hit Burfict put on tight end Martellus Bennett.

To be honest, Burfict should be used to paying fines. He has paid more than any player since 2011.

Bengals former coach had a successful heart transplant

Sam Wyche was losing time, and it was slowly beginning to tick away from him, but the faithful ball coach kept a positive outlook and was able to get great news.

Wyche went into surgery early Tuesday morning after Doctor’s found him a heart donor, and the procedure took around four and a half hours. His family posted on Facebook that he was in recovery and doing well.

“I pretty much thought most of the day was, he was going to end up passing away and then found out he was hopefully going to get a new heart, which it turned out he did,” Kerry Wyche said. “I told my kids last night when they were saying prayers to say an extra prayer to the donor family. Even though we’re celebrating, they’re preparing for a funeral. And so I, I pray for them as well.”

This is amazing news, because Doctor’s were ready to send him to a hospice. Please pray for Coach Wyche and his family.
