Cam’Ron Matthews became the sixth high school player to die this year on the field
A football player that collapsed at a game Friday night has passed away. 
The Superintendent of Alto ISD confirms that Alto Yellowjackets football player Cam’Ron Matthews passed away around 5 p.m. Saturday evening.

Matthews reportedly said in a huddle with his team that he felt dizzy at a game against Carlisle Friday. We were told he collapsed on the sidelines.
