NFL Draft

Bruce Matthews believes the Bills would be a great fit for his son

Jake Matthews of Texas A&M is rated as the top offensive tackle prospect in the NFL Draft, and he had a pre-draft visit with the Buffalo Bills last month.  Today his father the former Hall of Famer Bruce Matthews was asked Saturday about how he would feel about his son playing for the Bills, and he responded;

“Good. He’s excited. Likes Coach [Doug] Marrone,” Bruce Matthews said. “It’s funny because it’s hard to even picture any scenario but the more you think about it, that would work, per Mike Rodak of ESPN.com.”

Matthews would walk into Buffalo and become an immediate starter on the right side of the football. Matthews has playe both left and right tackle and the Bills have a glaring need at the right tackle position.
